Inadequate organization of preventive measures and insufficient level of staff training are incompatible with modern methods of greenhouse technologies. This article discusses the most common technological mistakes, leading to severe damage to greenhouse tomato and cucumber culture. The article includes information about the manifestation of symptoms of diseases, spread in recent years. Summary: A new disease of greenhouse cucumber - "hairy root" (or "root mat") found in Russia at 2013 was caused by Agrobacterium biovar 1 = A. rhizogenes. Symptoms of the disease were described, the pathogen was identified. Methods of identification by biochemical and PCR tests were recommended for its detection in plants, substrate and water.
