Summary: After treatment of seeds and tomato plants with plant growth regulators Ribav-Extra, Zircon, Epin-Extra, and Obereg the plants actively moved to active fruiting and increased their productivity. The best results at these features were obtained for 10 tomato hybrids with determinate growth type, 5 – with semideterminate growth type and 4 with indeterminate growth type after Zircon treatment. Different reactions of investigated tomato hybrids after treatment with plant growth regulation were manifested. All Russia Research Institute of Vegetable Growing.Summary: The investigative results of application of the plant growth regulators (preparations: Bioduks, Agrostimul, Atonik plus) on the cucumber crop in the greenhouse are presented. The positive effect of studied growth regulators on the quality of the seedlings and yield was found. Compared to the standard variant, the Bioduks and Agrostimul application led to the growth of vitamin C concentration in the cucumber’s fruits. Some technological features of the new preparations and of their application described. Effectiveness of the preparation Rapsol Extra ® against powdery mildew on greenhouse cucumbers. N.I. Budynkov N.I. Budynkov, Ph.D., Agriculture, Research Institute of Phytopathology RAAS. Summary: Studied the effectiveness of an improved form of preparation Rapsol — Rapsol Extra ® (producer — Elite Agrosistems Ltd., Voskresensk city) based on the rape seed oil (Brassica napus) compared with fungicides Topaz and Strobi against powdery mildew of cucumber. In greenhouses dosage Rapsola Extra 7-10 l/ha provided almost complete suppression of the causative agent — Erysiphe cichoracearum. It was noted as visually on disease symptoms, and at the microscope — plasmolysis of conidia and conidial chains had been deduced.
